AMERICAN-ARAB & MUSLIM LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
DEBUT EVENT
The American-Arab & Muslim Leadership Council would like to cordially invite you to a community briefing on the morning of Friday, November 20th, 2015.
A non-profit organization established in Michigan, the AMLC seeks to promote leadership with the Arab & Muslim community and serve as an ambassador for those unfamiliar with us. Whether they are of political, social, or economic scope; the AMLC sees it as a civic duty to bring clarity on these issues. As we strive towards this duty, we would like you to join us in building a stronger society.
Our debut will be hosted at Habib’s Cuisine. Guest speaker Dr. Hatem Bazian, (founder of the Islamophobia Studies Journal and a senior lecturer in University of California, Berkeley), will join us to speak on the subject of “Islamophobia: Muslims in the public square”.
We look forward to seeing you there as we discuss our vision towards building a better society.
